This represents an opportunity to reaffirm wine's place in European society, and install a judicial and socio-economic environment that allows the sustainable development of responsible companies. It is also an opportunity to educate consumers regarding wine's place in a healthy diet: thus broadening the base of wine enthusiasts and assuring a future for viticultural regions and the thousands of people who work in them.
